Funding

All of the Advanced group of clinics deal with most third party private pay insurers, including Manulife, Great West Life, Sunlife, Greenshields, and Blue Cross.

The Advanced Hearing Centres are registered with the Assistive Devices Program through the Ontario Ministry of Health (see below), the Ontario Disability and Support Program, Essential Health, Social Services, Veteran’s Affairs Canada, Non-Insured Health Benefits-Health Canada, and the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board of Ontario.

Since December of 1988, the Ministry of Health of Ontario has provided funding for a portion of the cost of hearing aids and FM systems, through the Assistive Devices Program.  The grant is available for hearing aids for all residents of Ontario with a valid Health Card.  The forms are submitted on your behalf and deducted from your cost of the hearing aids/FM system.  More information can be obtained from the Ontario Ministry of Health Website (http://www.health.gov.on.ca/english/public/program/adp/adp_mn.html).

Our Audiologists are authorized to provide the necessary information and certify eligibility to Revenue Canada for the Disability Tax Credit.
